Frank Townsend - Summer Program Co-Director

Frank taught Classics at SYA for four years, and returns as the Co-Director of the Summer Italy Program for 2017. He teaches AP Latin and is the Chair of the Modern and Classical Languages Department at Tabor Academy in Massachusetts. Prior to Tabor, Frank taught AP Latin at The Williston North Hampton School in Massachusetts. He earned a B.A. from the University of Rochester and an M.A. from Boston University. He also coaches crew and wrestling.

Eleonora Trucca - Summer Program Co-Director
Eleonora has been directing the Summer Program in Italy since 2014 and has been hosting yearlong SYA students since 2002. She began working for the SYA yearlong program as the Host Family Coordinator in 2005. What she loves most is to travel and learn more about new cultures.

Daniele has worked at SYA since 2011 and currently teaches Italian Culture and Global Citizenship courses during the yearlong program.
