SYA France students visited Marseille and went to the Basilique Notre-Dame de la Garde, which serves as the city’s best-known symbol. It was built at the highest natural point in Marseille, which allowed students to see it from other places they visited.

Did you know? Giving to the SYA Fund supports approximately 10% of SYA’s operational budget each year and helps to provide immediate use funds to deliver the SYA experience we know and love. We are grateful to donors to The Campaign for SYA — individuals who have partnered with us by investing in our mission and education — for helping to create a strong foundation of pledges to the SYA Fund that will ultimately benefit our students and educators.
In any given year, the SYA Fund has a direct impact on all aspects of an SYA education: innovative curriculum and in and out of the classroom, immersive fieldwork opportunities, caring host families, engaging teachers and riveting travel experiences. Without annual support of the SYA Fund, we simply could not provide the exceptional study abroad experience SYA is known for.
While pledges through The Campaign for SYA have provided us with a solid foundation toward this year’s SYA Fund goal of $1.25 million, we still need alumni, parents and friends in our community to help us reach it!
