Volunteer

Volunteering is a meaningful way to make a difference to SYA, to the young people it prepares for lives of global citizenship, to prospective parents who are making the decision to let their children attend SYA and to the alumni who often renew old friendships and discover new ones.

Knowing you're helping a cause you believe in is a really nice feeling and one of the primary rewards of volunteering. Whether it be helping organize your class's first — or 50th — reunion or playing a pivotal role in our next giving day or spreading the word about SYA to future students, let us know how you'd like to be involved. Imagine what the world would be like if every student lived abroad for a year of high school like you did. SYA needs volunteers to help make that happen.

(Not only does volunteering help you feel good by sharing your SYA experience, adding volunteer activities to your college app or resume looks good, too.)

Here are the ways you can contribute your time and energy to SYA's mission. Please contact the Alumni office with any questions by calling 978.725.6828 ext 189 or emailing Susan McLean, Associate Director of Advancement, Director of Alumni Relations.
