About our speakers

Jamie Broderick FR'71  is a director of the Impact Investing Institute, an independent, non-profit UK organization that aims to accelerate the growth and improve the effectiveness of the impact investing market. The Institute is supported by organizations including the UK's Government Inclusive Economy Unit, the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office and the City of London Corporation. Prior, Jamie was head of UBS Wealth Management in the UK, chief executive of JP Morgan’s Asset Management European operations. He began his career at Wellington Management Company, an independent asset management partnership in Boston. A former trustee for SYA, he was most recently the co-chair of The Campaign for SYA and remains an active volunteer for his class. He attended SYA as a junior from Phillips Exeter Academy. He studied Arabic Linguistics and Near Eastern Languages and Civilizations at Harvard College and continued those studies in a Ph.D. program at the University of Chicago.

Ansley Carlisle CN'13 is an associate at Mark Cuban Companies in Dallas. Her responsibilities include due diligence and project management. She’s especially interested in companies in the renewable energy and sustainability spaces. Before entering venture capital, she worked as an Environmental Engineer at ExxonMobil in Houston. Ansley attended SYA China as a junior from the Hockaday School (Dallas). She earned a B.S. in Chemistry from Spelman College and a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Columbia University.
