Your investment in the SYA experience helps today's high schoolers grow into empathetic global citizens.
SYA is a non-profit organization, financially and administratively independent of our founding and member schools. Our tax ID is 04-2589375. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent provided by law.
Listed below are the ways you may make a gift to SYA. If your question is not answered below, please visit Giving FAQs or contact the Advancement Office at giving@sya.org or 978.725.6828 ext. 186.
Online & Recurring Gifts
Online gifts may be made using your credit card, bank transfer, Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay or other digital wallet options. Make an even greater impact by setting up a monthly or annual gift on a schedule that is convenient for you through our online giving form.

We recommend making credit card gifts online. If you do mail credit card information, please be sure to include the cardholder name, account number, expiration date, security code and amount.

Donor-advised Funds & Foundations
SYA is eligible to receive grant distributions from donor-advised funds and foundations. We regularly receive grants from donor-advised funds at Fidelity, Schwab and Vanguard, and many community and family foundations.
ACH information is available upon request if your foundation or donor-advised fund has gone paperless. Otherwise, checks (made out to "School Year Abroad") may be mailed to:

In order to receive acknowledgements and tax receipts, be sure to notify SYA of your name, the name of the stock and the number of shares to be transferred by emailing giving@sya.org.

Matching Gifts
Matching gifts are a wonderful way to increase the value of a gift to SYA. Donors are credited with the total of their gift plus the matching gift. Please send the completed matching gift form along with your contribution.
Planned Gifts
Bequests from thoughtful and visionary alumni, parents and friends provide important financial resources for SYA in the future. In this spirit, we have established the Explorers of Tomorrow, which includes members of our community who have made a provision for SYA in their estate plans.
