Paris on independent travel with my friends. The first independent travel I've gone on, and I hope not the last. 

Our first day of our trip to Bordeaux ! We went to the Cité du Vin and then split up in small groups for dinner (after spending 7 hours on the bus to get there). 

The first day back at school we got the first snow of the year in Rennes. I had never seen snow before in my life, and while I had imagined seeing it for the first time in Rennes numerous times, nothing compared to the reality of it. It was so truly magical. 

 

This was the first real hang out I had with the people who would become my closest friends at SYA. Most of them I hadn't really spoken to until earlier that afternoon, but we all got along so quickly that we were planning to meet for dinner that night after just one lunch together. Every time I think back on our friendship, I think about this dinner.
