- Class of SYA France 1979 Scholar

During independent travel with my first semester friends I visited the Eiffel Tower. It was a jaw dropping experience especially when it started sparkling. I had a great time being in such a big city and getting to see some of the most iconic monuments in France.

After walking for hours under the rain, me and my friends finally stumble upon the Louvre. The beauty of the building made everything worth it. The sky decided to clear up right in time for me to take a picture!

This is a photo of me and my host family, we took a day trip to a city in Bretagne named Fougères. It was so much fun discovering a new part of France. All though it was not too far from Rennes it was very different and I discovered a new aspect of the country.

This is a photo that I took on one of our school trips to Bordeaux. This was inside Bassine de Lumières; it was so intriguing too learn about how the building was transformed from from a military base into a recreational space for people to enjoy. I took this really cute photo with my best friend here to remember this lively day.
