Tell us a bit about yourself and your interests.
I am bilingual and my first language was Spanish. I hope French will be my third! I love to read, run and do a variety of different types of art and crafts.

What made you apply to SYA?
I applied to SYA because I've always really wanted to learn another language. I also felt that being able to study abroad in high school was an incredible opportunity I could not miss out on.

What are your hopes for your SYA experience?
I hope that my SYA experience will challenge me to adapt and be open minded to change. I also hope that it will really strengthen my knowledge and French speaking skills.

What are you most looking forward to this year?
I am really looking forward to independent travel and going to visit cities like Paris, Nantes and Lyon. I'm also looking forward to meeting new classmates from lots of different places.

What would you say to the donors who made this experience possible?
Thank you very much! I'm very glad to be in Rennes and I wouldn't have even considered applying without the financial aid offered.
