Welcome to SYA!
SYA is a yearlong study abroad and homestay program for high school students. Each year we select up to 70 students to attend each of our schools in China, France, Italy and Spain. Our students come from independent schools, including some of the most competitive institutions in the country. Others join us from public or charter schools. In fact, last school year students enrolled from over 140 different schools, from Maine to Hawaii and beyond.

Our students say that SYA is a journey of becoming –becoming more fluent in another language, and becoming more comfortable in another culture. At SYA you'll:
