As we embark on a new academic year, we have much to celebrate — the 60th anniversary of School Year Abroad! Over the past six decades, more than 9,000 students have immersed themselves in new cultures, deepened their language skills and returned home with a greater understanding of the world.

60 years of students. 60 years of faculty. 60 years of host families. 60 years of friendships. 60 years of language learning. 60 years of newfound knowledge, perspectives and appreciation for our greater global community.

As we honor this incredible milestone, we are reminded of the countless ways SYA has impacted lives. From fostering lifelong friendships to inspiring future careers, the experiences our students have gained across all eight of our campuses are long-lasting and invaluable.

You can ensure that this life-changing opportunity continues for future generations of SYAers. When you support our school, you allow students to travel with their classmates to experience different cultures within their host countries, you empower teachers to participate in workshops and professional development to hone their skills, you create opportunities for students to attend SYA who otherwise may not have the means.
