Ways to Give
SYA is financially and administratively independent of our member schools.
Mail-in Donations
Checks and credit card information can be mailed with the printable form.
Online Giving
You may make your gift online through our online giving form.
Online Pledges
You may make your pledge online through our online pledge form. Pledge payments are due by the close of the Annual Fund on June 30th. You will receive your tax receipt at the time that your pledge is completed.
Securities
Gifts of securities provide attractive tax advantages: capital gains taxes are avoided, and the full market value of the stock can be tax-deductible. It is very important that SYA is notified of your name, the name of the stock and the number of shares to be transferred. Please refer to our instructions for gifts of securities. Donors or their brokers should contact Alan Cole in the Development Office at 978.725.6828, ext. 125 if they have questions or require further instruction.
Wire Transfers
Use these instructions to make a donation through a wire transfer.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Matching gifts are a wonderful way to increase your support to SYA. Donors are credited with the total of their gift plus the matching gift. Send a completed matching gift form from your employer along with your contribution.
Planned Gifts
Planned giving is an important option for supporting School Year Abroad. Many of SYA's loyal donors have also included the school in their estate plans. Planned gifts include: bequests; charitable gift annuities; charitable trusts; property; gifts of life insurance policies; and retirement accounts. Please contact Director of Development Lynn Nathanson to learn more about planned giving opportunities.
Gifts In Kind
SYA welcomes In Kind gifts, particularly books published by SYA alumni and friends. For more information about the In Kind program, please contact Katie Kozin at kkozin@sya.org or 978.725.6828, ext. 133.
