Since 1964 School Year Abroad has been educating talented and eager young men and women in countries far from our borders, teaching them to become broad-minded and well-trained citizens of the world. Our students are developing the courage to learn from success and failure, and to become productive and responsible members of the world community.

They are also learning that the success of any great community endeavor is dependent upon the dedication and support of every member. School Year Abroad relies upon the generosity of our alumni, parents and friends. SYA is financially independent and is not subsidized by our founding or member schools. The funds raised from annual giving go directly to financial aid and program enrichment.
